Florals rule once again for Summer 2008. Big and bold, brassy and brash. This year's trend is a million miles away from the demure prints of previous seasons. Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga, and of course Miuccia Prada have all paid homage to florals. Once women regained confidence after a decade of wearing trousers, floral fashion looks have become approachable once more. Flowers and fashion have always had long history together and have consistantly been the more successfull prints when moving from the catwalks to the highstreet.
